COTSystem terms of service

Last updated: October 29, 2026

These terms govern the use of COTSystem, business software run by CoThrusters. By creating an account or by using COTSystem on behalf of an organisation, you accept them for yourself and for that organisation.

If your organisation has signed a separate agreement with CoThrusters, that agreement prevails where it differs from these terms.

The service

COTSystem is an online platform for sales, customer, marketing, communications and operations work. The modules, limits and support included are those of the order or proposal agreed with your organisation. We improve and change features over time, without materially reducing what was agreed.

Accounts and access

Each organisation names an administrator, who invites its members and decides what each one can see and do. Keep your sign-in details to yourself, use the second sign-in step where it is offered, and tell us without delay if you suspect someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what is done under your account.

Your data

Your organisation owns the data it enters into or connects to COTSystem and is responsible for having a lawful basis to process it. We process it only to provide the service and on your organisation’s instructions, as described in the privacy policy and, where applicable, in the data processing agreement. We do not sell it and we do not use it to train artificial intelligence models.

Acceptable use

Do not use COTSystem to break the law or the rights of others; to send spam or messages without the consent the law requires; to upload malicious code; to try to reach data or accounts that are not yours; or to overload, probe or copy the service. We may suspend an account that does so, after notice whenever the situation allows it.

Connected services

COTSystem can connect to services of other organizations, such as Microsoft, Google, Meta (Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp), Zoom, Twilio and Quo. Their use is subject to their own terms and policies. COTSystem accesses them only with the permissions your organisation or you grant, and only for the features you use. We are not responsible for their availability or for the changes they make.

Artificial intelligence features

Some features use artificial intelligence to suggest, summarise or draft. Their results may be incomplete or wrong: review them before relying on them. Actions with consequences, such as sending a message on your behalf, follow the approval settings your organisation chooses.

Fees

Fees, billing periods and payment terms are those of the order or proposal agreed with your organisation. Unless stated otherwise, prices exclude VAT. Late payment may lead to the suspension of the service, after notice.

Availability and support

We work to keep COTSystem available and secure, with backups and monitoring, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Planned maintenance is announced in advance whenever possible.

Intellectual property

COTSystem, its software, design and content belong to CoThrusters or its licensors. While the subscription is in force, your organisation may use it for its own business; it may not copy, resell or sublicense it.

Confidentiality

Each party keeps confidential the non-public information it receives from the other and uses it only for the purposes of these terms.

Ending the service

Your organisation may end its subscription as set out in its order. We may end or suspend it for a serious breach of these terms. After the end, your organisation can export its data for 30 days; after that, the data is deleted or anonymised, except what the law requires us to keep.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, CoThrusters is not liable for indirect damage or lost profits, and its total liability is limited to the fees paid for the service in the 12 months before the event that caused the damage. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, such as for wilful misconduct or gross negligence.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the version in force; important changes are announced inside COTSystem at least 30 days before they apply.

Applicable law

These terms are governed by Portuguese law. Any dispute is settled by the competent courts in Portugal, without prejudice to the mandatory rules that protect consumers.

For any question about these terms, contact CoThrusters, the organization that runs COTSystem.
